Is there a dresscode?

no but hats and kilts are encouraged. some bits of the day might be outside and it’s scotland… so you may want a coat

where is the best place to stay?

there is a small pub/hotel in fochabers but we’d recommend staying in elgin - the nearest town. there are plenty of airbnbs and hotels close to the train station.

How do i get to gordon castle?

the entrance to the castle is located here.

if you’re coming from the east travel along the a96 until you reach the spey bay roundabout, take the 3rd exit and the castle entrance will be on your left.
